National Sales Executive

 Position Overview/Purpose: 
The National Sales Executive role at SMG Facilities is a dynamic and influential position designed for a highly motivated and disciplined individual with a keen hunter mentality for new business. This role demands a proactive approach to actively selling to in both existing and new customer segments, developing value-based solutions, and persistently pursuing opportunities to close deals and expand revenue channels. 
A successful candidate has a genuine enthusiasm for driving business growth through effective sales strategies, marked by a strong ethical foundation. This individual will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing for the cultivation of significant relationships with key decision-makers and clients. They will have the ability to think critically and creatively to tailor solutions that meet diverse client needs while aligning with the company’s strategic goals. 
▪ Proactively prospect and open new doors, identifying key decision makers to build professional, trust-based relationships. 
▪ Qualify opportunities with key stakeholders to gather valuable intelligence and develop customer-centric solutions. 
▪ Create and present compelling proposals that align with customer needs and highlight the value of our services. 
▪ Maintain a high sense of urgency and work at a fast pace to meet sales goals and benchmarks. 
▪ Collaborate effectively with operations and other team members, utilizing collective expertise to enhance service delivery. 
▪ Understand the importance of deepening and broadening existing relationships to maximize client engagement and satisfaction. 
▪ Plan daily activities strategically to ensure achievement of specific activity benchmarks and closure of business. 

▪ Extensive face-to-face (B2B) selling experience at mid to senior levels. 
▪ Ability to manage multiple projects and multitask effectively across a large territory. 
▪ Highly competitive, positive, and results-driven with excellent presentation skills.

▪ Strong oral and written communication skills, adept at building client-centric and solution/value-based proposals. 
▪ Experience with social media platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter) for business development. 
▪ Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience. 
▪ Demonstrated resilience and persistence in closing deals. 

Other Skills: 
Proficient in Microsoft Suite including but not limited to PowerPoint, Word, Excel (Pivot Tables, navigating larger data sets). 
Data Analytics and Tools understanding and identifying action items from canned reporting tools. 
Industry WMS Systems Experience (Service Channel, Corrigo, Verisae, Fexa, Facilit, etc.) managing high volume transactions within WMS Systems and ensuring congruencies between SMG and client environment, a plus. 
▪ Experience with CRM or SFA tools, with a proven track record of achieving sales goals in a long-cycle selling environment.
