SMG Facilities Announces Appointment of Tom Kay to Connex Board of Directors

MANASQUAN, NEW JERSEY – June 22, 2021 – SMG Facilities, a leading integrated facilities management company, today announced that Tom Kay, Chief Revenue Officer, has recently been appointed to the Board of Directors for Connex – the authority on Retail and Multi-site Facilities Management and considered to be the leading membership organization for Facility Managers and supplier professionals.

Kay has nearly 30 years of executive leadership experience in facilities management, smart building technologies, and telecommunications.

Mr. Kay has been appointed to the Board of Directors. With his appointment, the 2021-2023 Board consists of 11 Directors: seven multi-site facility members and five supplier members who serve three-year rotating terms. In addition, three alternates, two multi-site facility members, and one supplier member serve as non-voting Board Members available to step into a Board seat should a vacancy occur on the Board during a term.
